Use
In this activity you determine which absences in Payroll should be refined by function XNAB. In particular, you should determine which partial-day absences should be permitted for the refinement.
Requirements
Standard settings
The system proceeds as follows to determine the absences that should be refined:
- The system runs through the international coding. In the system, all full-day absences are provided for processing and all partial-day absences are excluded. The system identifies the full-day absences using the indicator full-day from the Absences infotype (2001).
- The system imports the partial-day absences that you allow for processing in the IMG activity.
- The system reads, if available, the country-specific function module HR_COV_CHECK_AB_XX. You can use this to exclude full-day absences from processing, if required. Partial-day absences can also be permitted for processing in the same way.
- The system reads the BAdI HRTIM_COV_HISTORY, which you can use to exclude absences from processing, or provide absences for processing using certain criteria.
Activities
- Find out whether the function module HR_COV_CHECK_AB_xx already exists for your country. If it does, find out which absences are excluded from the refinement, and which partial-day absences are already permitted for the refinement.
- Enter all partial-day absence types that you want to define further with function XNAB. This absence types do not deduct from a quota.
- If necessary, maintain the BAdI HRTIM_COV_HISTORY. For more information, read: Enhancements for Payroll Function XNAB.
