PAY_XX_DP_006 - Define Reference Dates
General Data in Customer Master Addresses (Business Address Services)This documentation is copyright by SAP AG.
In this Customizing activity you define reference dates, which are used by the archiving objects to determine the retention period.
You must execute this activity when the reference date you need is not available in the system. For example, some authorities may define the retention period based on the audit date of the state or area, and this date is not in the system.
You have made the necessary settings in Customizing activity IRM Object Customizing.
Execute this Customizing activity and make the required entries in the following fields:
- IRM Constant: The technical name of the reference date. You have maintained it in Customizing activity IRM Object Customizing by navigating in the dialog structure to Object Category -> Object Type -> Allowed Start Times.
- Reference area: Each IRM constant can have a different area information, for example, AUDIT_DATE_STATE requires the state code, or AUDIT_DATE_FED requires a fixed string (FED).
- Reference date: The date itself. You can define more than one reference date. For example, the State of California audits the absences in your company every other year. In this case, the entries could be as follows:
IRM Constant | Area Reference Date | |
---|---|---|
HCM_AUDIT_DATE_STATE | CA 10/15/2006 | |
HCM_AUDIT_DATE_STATE | CA 10/15/2008 | |
HCM_AUDIT_DATE_STATE | CA 10/15/2010 |
