The reporting parallelization enables you to execute reports in parallel mode, that is, with various processes (jobs) running in parallel. This may help to reduce the execution time.
The enabling of a standard report to be executed in parallel mode can only be done by SAP.
In this Customizing activity you can do the following:
- Display the parallelization settings delivered by SAP for standard reports.
- Create your own entries in customer namespace. By doing this, you can enable a customer-specific report to be executed in parallel mode.
In this Customizing activity, because you are accessing a control table you cannot override standard settings, because you are accessing a control table. To override standard settings wherever possible, you must access the customizing table. That is, you must execute the subsequent activity, Override Parallelization Framework Definition.
