PA_JP_EHP6_LINC_003 - Map LINC Insurer Codes with Insurer Codes in System

In this Customizing activity, you associate the insurance company codes defined internally in SAP system with the codes defined by the external life insurance institution LINC.

In the incoming data files from LINC, the external insurance company codes are used. However, in SAP system, the master data of life insurance is based on the internal codes defined in the Customizing activity Define Insurance Company Code. To enable the system to recognize and then update the correct infotype records according to the incoming data files, you map the LINC-defined codes with the system-defined codes for the insurance companies, with which your company signs the group insurance contracts.

• You have defined the internal insurance company codes in Customizing for Personnel Administration, under Personnel Management -> Personnel Administration -> Payroll Data -> Life Insurance and General Insurance (JP) -> Insurance Company -> Define Insurance Company Code.

• You have checked the LINC-defined insurance company codes in Customizing for Personnel Administration, under Personnel Management -> Personnel Administration -> Payroll Data -> Life Insurance and General Insurance (JP) -> Group Insurance Policy -> Group Life Insurance -> Map LINC Insurer Codes with Insurer Codes in System.
