In this Customizing activity, you create the residence status. Each residence status represents a subtype of the Residence Status infotype (0048).

In the standard SAP system, the most common residence statuses are already provided.

1. Check whether the standard settings are sufficient for your requirements.
2. To create a new residence status, proceed as follows:
1. Enter the value 0048 in the Infotype field.
2. Enter the number of the new subtype for the infotype.
3. Enter a short text for the residence status.
4. Define the time constraints.
