The industry to which your company belongs determines the level of supplementary insurance contribution you make for your employees.

In this Customizing activity, you define the industry or industries to which your company belongs in the form of a contribution type for each insurance type.

Note

Alternatively, you can make these settings in the VC_7CN20_SUI view cluster. To access the view cluster, call the sm34 transaction.

1. Choose an insurance type and a contribution area.
2. Enter a description for the type of industry, for example Chemical. If your company is active in more than one industry, you need to create an entry for each industry type.
