This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the Payroll China (PY-CN) and Personnel Administration for China (PA-PA-CN) components. You use this BAdI to determine the pension management group to which employees belong based on your own criteria and business logic. For example, you can determine the pension management group based on age or seniority. If you implement this BAdI, you can define your own criteria for determining pension management groups in addition to the settings that you make in the following features:

• Pension Management Group for Pension Plan Eligibility Management (28CPP)

• Pension Management Group for Pension Plan Contribution Management (28CPC)

• Pension Management Group for Pension Plan Benefit Management (28CPB)

You can use this BAdI to determine employee groups for the following purposes:

• Participation eligibility management

• Contribution calculation

• Benefit eligibility management
