In this Customizing activity, you can assign pension management groups to corporate pension plans. The system uses these groups for the following purposes:
- To determine whether an employee is eligible to become a participant of the corporate pension plan or whether his or her participant status can be changed
- To calculate the contribution amounts that an employee or an employer makes to the pension plan
- To determine whether an employee is eligible to receive benefits from the pension plan
You have completed the following steps:
- You have defined pension management groups, in the Define Pension Management Groups Customizing activity.
- You have defined a pension plan and you have specified the purposes for which you want to use pension management groups in the Define Corporate Pension Plans Customizing activity.
You can assign more than one pension management group with the same employee group category to a pension plan.
Refer to the sample entries to create your own groups.
