PBCS_0004 - Define Grouping for Participation in Automatic Commitment Creation

In this IMG activity, you define groupings which you can use to activate differentiated automatic commitment creation. You use these groupings in the following IMG activity for adjusting the feature PM100 (Assignment of Grouping for Automatic Commitment Creation).

You can find more information on the setup of the feature in the documentation on IMG activity Assign Grouping for Participation in Commitment Creation.

If you want to use automatic commitment creation, you have to

1. Create a Grouping
2. Assign this grouping to feature PM100 in IMG activity Define Assignment of Grouping for Automatic Commitment Creation.
3. Define a period for the grouping in which the program should create commitment documents in IMG activity Define Start of of Automatic Document Creation for each Grouping.

You want to split the participation in automatic commitment creation into two steps, so you define two groupings:

• Grouping 0001: 1. Step

• Grouping 0002: 2. Step
