PBCS_0008 - Define Run Variant for Automatic Commitment Creation

In this IMG activity, you assign the variants that you defined for the individual modules to a run variant. This run variant controls the commitment run.
There are entries in the IMG activities for the module-specific variants:
- Object Collector: Link Variant to Filter Value
- Object Collector: Assign Detail Variant to Data Collector Variant
- Document Creation: Link Variant to Filter Value
- Error Handling: Link Variant to Filter Value
- Output: Link Variant to Filter Value
SAP delivers different run variants that can be interpreted by different programs.

| INITIAL | Start Initial Commitment Creation |
| " | Initial Commitment Creation - Free Selection |
| CHANGE_LOG | Commitment Creation- Objects Flagged for Refinancing |
| CHANG_ENG | Commitment Creation - Objects with Flag and Completed Messages |
| FREE_SEL | Commitment Creation- Free Selection |
The variant FREE_SEL is flagged as Standard in the standard system.
If you want to use your own run variant, you have to copy the program RHRFPM_ENGINE_TEMPLATE and enter your run variant in the program coding.
