PBCS_0020 - Define Parameter Type for Transfer to Object Collector

Using this IMG activity, you define the format in which the additional parameters are transferred to the BAdI implementation. You create a parameter type for this which you assign to an object from the Data Dictionary (DDIC). This can be, for example, a data element, a structure or a table.

You have defined a filter in the IMG activity Filter Value for BAdI Implementation. You have also created an individual implementation for it in the IMG activity Create BAdI Implementation for Filter Value.

You have assigned this filter value to a variant and set a flag for it to receive additional parameters in the IMG activity Link Variant to Filter Value.

SAP delivers the parameter type HR_S_P which refers to the DDIC object HROBJECT. HROBJECT is a structure which contains the object keys plan variant, object type and object Id.

If you want to transfer additional external parameters to a user-defined variant of the module object collector:

1. Create the parameter type with the DDIC object you want to use.
2. Assign this parameter type to the filter value in the following IMG activity.
