PBCS_0041 - Create BAdI Implementation for Filter Value

This Business Add In (BAdI) is used in the component Position Budgeting and Control (PA-PM-PB).

Using this BAdI, you can individually define the commitment period depending on the person or position for which the commitment should be created.

The BAdI is called at the start of an automatic commitment creation run for each person/position selected. In this way, you can replace specific objects of the commitment period which you entered in the implementation guide (IMG) Position Budgeting and Control in the IMG activity Define Period for Automatic Commitment Creation.

If you require your own implementation, you first have to define your own filter value in the IMG activity Create Filter Value for BAdI. You enter this filter value in your BAdI implementation.

SAP delivers the implementation HRFPM_ENC_STANDARD which is assigned to the filter value STANDARD. This implementation evaluates the periods defined in the IMG Position Budgeting and Control.

If you want to create your own implementation, define a new filter value and assign your implementation to this filter value. Then define the new filter value as a global filter.

If you created your own implementation with your own filter value, you have to define this filter value as a global filter in the IMG activity Define Global Filter Value for BAdI.

An individual implementation may be required, for example, if you want to determine the commitment period depending on the financing source.
