Using this IMG activity Define Document Type for Earmarked Funds, you maintain the document types for funds precommitments, funds commitments and funds blocks that were created in a run for automatic commitment creation in Accounting.

The system you execute this IMG activity in depends on whether you use Position Budgeting and Control and Funds Management in a system or whether you work in a distributed environment.

• If both components run in one system then execute the IMG activity in this system.

• If you work in a distributed environment, maintain the necessary settings in the system in which Funds Management is running. Funds Management also contains this IMG activity in the Implementation Guide of Position Budgeting and Control.
