PBC_FTE_0030 - Maintain Names of Budget Units

In this step, you maintain the description of the budget unit full-time equivalents.

This budget unit can be a unit of measure for budget structure element types in the area budget of Position Management.

You create a short and long text for the budget unit full-time equivalents available in the system. This unit description is displayed later in the structures of Position Management.

Note:

The budget unit full-time equivalents was developed for Germany and should therefore only be used in Germany.

The budget unit FTE is assigned to the short text FTE and the long text full-time equivalent(s) in the standard system.

However, you want to name the budget unit FTE PU and position unit(s). You therefore have to define the short text PU for the budget unit FTE and the long text position unit(s).

1. Maintain the short description in the field unit and the long text in the field unit description for the budget unit FTE.
2. Choose Save.

The short description and the long text should be maintained for the budget unit FTE because they are used for the screen display. The output fields are blank if this is not done.
