PBC_FTE_1122 - Define Formatting Variant

In this IMG activity you define one or more formatting variants. You can use formatting variants to add columns with information on the budget hierarchy to Personnel Budget Plan Management reports. These additional columns can only be seen in evaluations that access the formatting variants (such as position analysis or financing analysis).

The budget hierarchy is mapped using the budget structure element (BS element) hierarchy. For each formatting variant, you define how the individual BS element types should be assigned to the additional columns.

SAP provides the sample formatting variant SAP0.
