SAP E-Book

In this IMG activity, you define groupings that you can use to create the reassignment locks for budget structure elements.

First get an overview of the different reassignment locks you want to map using the groupings. You define the corresponding rules for calling the relevant reassignment lock as a decision tree for feature PM310 (Activation of Reassignment Lock).

Define the settings for the reassignment locks as described in section Activities.

  • The Customizing delivered in the standard for automatic reassignment locks is active (see IMG activity Set Up Reassignment Lock).

SAP does not deliver any entries by default.

To use different reassignment locks, proceed as follows:

  1. Define the required number of groupings (in this IMG activity).
  2. Assign the defined groupings to feature PM310 in the feature maintenance (IMG activity Assign Grouping for Reassignment Lock).
  3. Define a period for each grouping in which the relevant reassignment lock should be activated in personnel budget plan management (IMG activity Define Period for Activating the Reassignment Lock).
  4. Define the calculation method for the end date of the reassignment lock for each grouping (IMG activity Define End Date of Reassignment Lock).
  5. In the standard, the processing of reassignment locks is supported via BAdI implementation CL_HRFPM_FTE_REOC_FLBK delivered by SAP.
If you want to define a different processing logic to this, you can use Business Add-In HRFPM_FTE_REOC_GRP to create your own enhancements (see IMG activity BAdI: Grouping for Reassignment Lock).
