In this IMG activity, you configure Determine Employment type for PIF feature (13PF6), where you specify the decisions for Employment Type. The feature configures Employment Type based on Employee Grouping, Organizational Assignment and Contract Type. The feature returns a single character field to identify the Employment Type.

Employment Type can be one of the following:

  • P - Permanent employee.
  • T - Temporary employee.

Note

The COMSUPER PIF Interface report (RPCPBSQ8) reads this feature to display the Employment Type of an employee.

  1. Invoke the decision tree for Determine Employment type for PIF feature (13PF6).
  2. Maintain the required entries.
  3. Choose Save.
