The probability factor is a company-specific value that is applied to each year of service. It is based on the probability that the employee will reach the number of years of service required to be eligible for long service leave (LSL).

The standard system provides the following values for the LSL probability factors:

• Value 10 for LSL Probability Factor Year 1 (payroll constant PRF01)

• Value 20 for LSL Probability Factor Year 2 (payroll constant PRF02)

• Value 30 for LSL Probability Factor Year 3 (payroll constant PRF03)

• Value 40 for LSL Probability Factor Year 4 (payroll constant PRF04)

• Value 50 for LSL Probability Factor Year 5 (payroll constant PRF05)

• Value 60 for LSL Probability Factor Year 6 (payroll constant PRF06)

• Value 70 for LSL Probability Factor Year 7 (payroll constant PRF07)

• Value 80 for LSL Probability Factor Year 8 (payroll constant PRF08)

• Value 90 for LSL Probability Factor Year 9 (payroll constant PRF09)

• Value 92 for LSL Probability Factor Year 10 (payroll constant PRF10)

• Value 100 for LSL Probability Factor Yr 10+ (payroll constant PRF11)

• Carry out activity for each probability factor.

• Adjust Start Date.

• Specify Value.
