PFO - Introduction to Portfolio Assignment

Portfolios of business objects, such as customer contracts, are generally administered in their own portfolio management system. However, the data relevant to the sales agent or the person responsible for these customer contracts is stored in another system, such as the incentive and commission management system. These individuals are represented by business objects, such as commission contracts.

The functions of portfolio assignment and reassignment are designed to help you manage the relationships, assignments and reassignments between these business objects that are located in different systems.

Portfolio assignment (PFO) lets you easily manage the relationships between objects of a portfolio management system and commission contracts in another system based on specific assigning criteria and to perform these assignments.

Further, with portfolio reassignment you can transfer available portfolio to one or more new commission recipient.
