In this Customizing, you create the number range for the registration and graduation number of all past students. To do this, specify the following under a two-character key:

  • A number interval from which the registration and graduation number for the ex-students is to be selected
  • The type of number assignment (internal or external number assignment)

The two-character keys that you can maintain are the following:

  • EX: External Registration number range
  • EP: External Graduation number Range
  • IN: Internal Number range for registration and graduation

NOTE: The number ranges you maintain here should not overlap with the number ranges maintained in Number Range for Registration Number/Graduation Number (PIQ_NL_REG)
