The Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the Inventory Management (MM-IM) component.

You can use this BAdI to enable or disable the execution of the default SAP coding for the scan in the physical inventory counting process.

Note

Disabling the default coding brings a performance advantage, because the system does not execute the SQL selects of the default coding anymore.

We recommend the disabling of the default coding only when you additionally use the BAdI BAdI: Changing of Scan Results for Physical Inventory Counts (MMIM_PI_CNT_SCAN_CHANGE_RESULT) to provide an item search for scans.

  • The Business Add-In is active in the standard system.
  • The Business Add-In can be used more than once.
