PLAN_TO_INSPECTION - Change of Specification When Plan Transferred to Inspection Lot​

This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the Basic Data (QM-PT-BD) component. You can use this BAdI to create additional inspection plan characteristics or change settings for inspection plan characteristics during creation of the inspection lot, that is, before inspection specifications are transferred to the inspection lot.

The BAdI is relevant for automatically and manually created inspection lots and for all inspection lot origins. Skip lots and inspection lots with inspection points are not considered.

The BAdI is called before the samples of the individual inspection characteristics are calculated, that is, prior to the determination of the inspection scope by dynamic modification.

For example, the BAdI enables you to do the following:

• Change control indicators of inspection plan characteristics

• Create additional inspection plan characteristics

• Hide inspection plan characteristics

The BAdI contains the following method: PLAN_TO_INSPECTION.

Importing parameters:

• IS_QINSP_LOT QINSP_LOT_CB Structure for inspection lot data

• IT_QINSP_OPERATION_LEVEL Table with inspection operation data

• IT_QINSP_PLAN_CHARACT Table with inspection plan characteristics

Changing parameters:

• CT_QINSP_PLAN_CHARACT Table with inspection plan characteristics

The following example implementation is available:

• CL_QASDR_EX_PLAN_TO_INSPECTION

For material QM001 and characteristic YQUALI01 (Surface), the characteristic category is changed from Required Characteristic to Optional Characteristic. In addition, the short text is changed to “Surface Inspection”.
