PMKC_UBARA - Define Reporting ALE
PERFORM Short Reference Fill RESBD Structure from EBP Component StructureThis documentation is copyright by SAP AG.
In this Customizing activity, you define each Applicable Large Employer (ALE) tax company in order to file its own Forms 1094-C and 1095-C under its own separate EIN for reporting the forms to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). If an ALE Member files more than one Form 1094-C, one must be identified on line 19, Part I as the Authoritative Transmittal.
You execute this activity to map which Tax Companies should receive a separate Form 1094-C and which Tax Companies should be aggregated under the same 1094-C. You can only aggregate multiple Tax Companies under one Form 1094-C in case they share the same EIN. If you choose to create multiple Forms 1094-C for the same ALE Member, you must identify one of them as the Authoritative Transmittal in the feature UBATA
If multiple Applicable Large Employer (ALE) tax companies are reported, each of them must file its own Forms 1094-C and 1095-C under its own separate EIN to report to the Internal revenue Service (IRS).
To specify the tax companies for reporting, you edit the Reporting Applicable Large Employer(UBARA) feature in the system.
Execute this Customizing activity and proceed as follows:
- Check if the standard settings fit your company's requirements.
- Edit the feature if changes are required.
For more information, see Reporting Applicable Large Employer (UBARA). You can also access the documentation of the feature by executing this activity and choosing Goto -> Documentation.
