POC_EVENT_EXTRACTION - BAdI: Creation of Events via Extraction

This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the Process Observer (CA-EPT-POC) component. It is executed in the event processing job before BOR and direct events are processed. Therefore this BAdI can be used to create additional BOR or direct events, which can then be processed by Process Observer in the same event processing job.

To do so, you may perform some tasks in the BAdI such as reading from the database and then raising a BOR event or just returning a list of events in the direct event format. The returned events are then directly inserted into the event buffer using the direct event API (function module POC_RAISE_EVENT).

Please note that as this BAdI is called in each run of the event processing job, it may have a considerable impact on the overall performance of the event processing job.
