This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the Process Observer (CA-EPT-POC) component. You can use this BAdI to enrich BOR event data by defining the customer includes provided in the structures. You return the enriched events in a task table. You can also create multiple tasks for one event.

You can also use this BAdI to implement a specific previous business object determination for an event. Previous (=predecessor) object information is relevant in the connection of events to process chains.

Method ENRICH_EVENT_FROM_CONT is called first and contains the BOR event and BOR container and the converted task information as input parameters.

Method ENRICH_EVENT is called after the first method and has the converted task information as input parameter.

Note
This BAdI is not called when direct events are being processed.

  1. Open the BAdI builder.
  2. Choose the Enhancement Spot Element Definitions tab.
  3. Select the Implementation Example Classes section.
  4. Double-click the CL_POC_BA_EVENT_SAMPLE sample implementation.
