POC_MAIN_BA_LOG - BAdI: Enrichment of Log Data

This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the Process Observer (CA-EPT-POC) component. You can use this BAdI to enrich process log data by filling the customer includes provided in the structures or by writing additional data in your own custom tables.

The BAdI is called directly before the process log information is updated in the DB. You can also use this BAdI to trigger automated actions by calling appropriate ABAP function modules.

In method ENRICH you can update the log entries provided as change tables.

As additional input parameters you have the list of underlying tasks (events) and the assignment of business areas to process definitions (parameter process headers). You can use this information as criteria to process specific instances.

1. Open the BAdI builder.
2. Choose the Enhancement Spot Element Definitions tab.
3. Select the Implementation Example Classes section.
4. Double-click the CL_POC_BA_EVENT_SAMPLE sample implementation.
