This Business Add-In (BAdI) provides two methods that you can use to calculate the duration KPI and/or classification KPI associated with a process instance. You can use this BAdI as an alternative to a corresponding BRFplus rule.

Using method DURATION_KPI_CALCULATE, you can override the standard duration calculaltion. This may be relevant if you want to allow negative values, for example.

Using method CLASSIFICATION_KPI_CALCULATION, you can do carry out complex evaluations to set the value of a classification attribute of a process instance.

The BAdI provides the following methods:

  • DURATION_KPI_CALCULATE
Calculate the duration KPI
  • CLASSIFICATION_KPI_CALCULATE
Calculate the Classification KPI

The following filter values are associated with the BAdI:

  • PROCESS_TYPE_ID
  • PROCESS_VERSION
  • KPI_TYPE_ID
