POC_MAIN_MASTER_REG - Define Process Registry Master System

In this Customizing activity, you assign a logical system ID to the master registry.

The process registry provides information about end-to-end and federated processes within and across systems. One system is selected as a master registry for all Process Observer systems.

You do not need to set the master registry if cross-system monitoring is not relevant for you.

Note
When configured, there should only be one master registry in the system landscape.

We also recommend that you do not change this setting once it has been made as this would lead to inconsistencies.

If this entry is modified then manual interference is required to clean up the old registry system and to update the new registry system with the realized process chains and federated processes.

You have defined the logical systems for federation in the Customizing activity Define Logical Systems for Federation.

POC_MASTER_REGISTRY_LOGSYS	ABCCLNT001

The above example suggests that the logical system ABCCLNT001 that is defined in Customizing activity Define Logical Systems for Federation is the master registry.

If no value is maintained for the parameter, the current system considers itself a master registry.
