POC_MAIN_TASK_BIND - BAdI: Rule-Based Binding of Tasks to Process Activities

This Business Add-In (BAdI) enables you to additionally evaluate and enrich the binding of a task to a process activity. You can use this BAdI instead of a corresponding BRFplus rule.

By default, the binding of a task to activities is defined in activity Create and Maintain Process Definition.

In this BAdI you can evaluate additional conditions such as the attributes of the business object (BO) referenced in the task, to determine whether the task should actually be bound. If the task should not be bound, delete the output of the BAdI.

As an example you may want to bind to different process definitions, depending on the type of the order when the order is created.

In addition to deleting binding information, you can also update and enrich the previous or predecessor BO for a task that is bound to a process definition.

The BAdI provides the method TASK_TO_ACTIVITY_BIND_PRE_BO.

The following filter values are associated with this BAdI:

• PROCESS_TYPE_ID

• PROCESS_VERSION

• PRO_STEP_TYPE_ID

• BO_TYPE

• BA_TYPE
