SAP E-Book

If you want to export the product catalog, you can decide whether the file created for the XML export should contain product order numbers or the product ID.

You can use rules to determine whether the catalog code should come at the start or the end of the product order number. There are two rule groups. Specify the one you want to use in global Customizing. This will affect further Customizing steps you make for the catalog type. The rules of the rule group specified previously will be suggested to you as the format selection.

In global Customizing you specify the:

  • Position of the catalog code
  • Length of the catalog code
  • Length of the campaign code

You cannot change the global Customizing of the product order number, so long as there are catalog types (in the current client) that use the product order number assignment.

You make other settings in Customizing for the catalog type.

Example

The product order number comprises, for example, of:

Campaign code,forward slash,product number,hyphen, catalog code:

03,,,,,,/,,,,,,,,4711,,,,,,-,,,,,,53
