PPPI_PO_113 - Define Error Search

In this menu option, you define the parameters for error search. You use this error search only if the SAP System aborts with an error, or issues an unauthorized error and notes it in the error log.

To restrict the cause of the error, you can use the debugging support function. In this case, enter temporary parameters in the error search that define when and for whom you want the program run stopped. When you then restart the faulty transaction, the program stops just before the error message is called up.

All the debugging tools are now available for further analysis.

Once you have finished with the debugging function, you have to delete the parameter entries so that the program does not stop at the marked position again.

1. Enter your user name for debugging.
2. Enter the work area and the message number from the error log message.
3. Execute the transaction again.
