PPPI_PO_2144 - Define Number Ranges for Operations

In this IMG activity, you define the number ranges for the operations of an order.

All operations and phases in the process order are identified via the order task list number assigned for each order, and a sequential counter.

Number ranges are assigned via the order category. You can assign a number range for each order category (process order, maintenance order).

Only one internal number assignment is allowed for the order task list number in this case.

To define number intervals for order task list numbers, you need authorization for the number range object "AUF_PLAN". This number range object is checked in the authorization object "S_NUMBER".

Number ranges are preset for operations in the standard system.

1. Change or delete the number ranges contained in the standard system if necessary.
2. Define the number range and the number interval for order category "40" (process order).
