You can use this IMG to define the content and layout of the metrics.

  • Metrics Rows
Here the ID, description and display sequence for the rows is defined
  1. ,,Enter a Metrics Row ID
  2. ,,Maintain a description
  3. ,,Define sequence (1= top to n=bottom)
  • Metrics Columns
Here the metrics columns are defined.
  1. ,,Enter a Metrics column ID
  2. ,,Maintain a description
  3. ,,Define sequence (1= left to n= right)
  • Metrics Mapping
Here the categories with either current or historic value and the relevant sub-totals are mapped to Metrics Row and Metrics Column. The value multiplier allows to change signs for calculation.
  1. ,,Select Category ID, Row ID, Column ID, Value, relevant Sub-total
  2. ,,Maintain Multiplier

Note

As the metrics itself does not contain any calculation logic all the logic needs to be built here. For example, if the metrics should show time in one row for time and also as part of a total, then we would need two entries with the same settings with the exception of row, which would be in one case the row for time and in the other row for total.

It makes sense to keep the sub-totals used here in synchronization with the sub-totals used on the respective screens. For WIP screen and Accrual screen the sub-totals shown are defined in Process Control WIP value 1 screen. For bill and value screen it is always NETWR.

Current value is the value of the entry in current process.

Historic value is the value of the underlying DMR at time of initial processing of the DMR with the billing request editor. The comparison of both values allows to show the impact of changing the DMR in previous or current processing comparing it against historic (=initial) values. In case the DMR was changed prior to entering the billing request editor, these changes would be considered part of the historic value.
