In this Customizing Activity, you define the mapping between the chapters and the commitment item groups.

This customizing is used in several reports to identify the relevant commitment item groups. Examples:

  • Budget Estimation and Consolidation (SAFM_BT_EST_CONS)
  • Budget and Expenditures by Funds Center (SAFM_BT_EXP_DEPARTM)
  • Summary of Budget Proposals for Main Projects (SAFM_BT_SUG_CH4)

In this Customizing Activity, you also define the visible code for the chapter. In the reports, internal codes are used which are delivered and defined by SAP. Here, you have the possibility to define the corresponding visible code.

SA1 is the internal code for Chapter 1. If you want to display only "1" in the reports, you should set the visible code to "1".
