BAL Application Log Documentation CL_GUI_FRONTEND_SERVICES - Frontend ServicesThis documentation is copyright by SAP AG.
Define an availability control for consumable budget against expenditures at the level of specific PSM account assignment elements and notify or restrict processors when critical budget levels are reached.
In this configuration activity, you define the availability control (AVC) profiles to be used in Public Sector Management (PSM).
Journal Fields
The following PSM account assignment elements from the universal journal database (table ACDOCA) can be used to apply an availability control to a profile:
- Cost Center
- Functional Area
- Fund
- Budget Period
- WBS Element
- Budget Account
In the AVC relationship type, you specify how the AVC control level is determined in relation to the field content to which you are posting for each journal field:
- Not Relevant
The field is not relevant to the AVC control, amounts are aggregated based on the remaining AVC fields.
- One to One
AVC control is executed specifically for the field value entered in a posting.
- Hierarchy
Availability control applies to the hierarchy level of the selected journal field. If you choose Hierarchy, you must also specify the respective hierarchy ID.
- Define an AVC profile in the transaction Availability Control Profile.
- In the transaction Journal Field Dependencies, choose the PSM account assignment element to which the availability control is to apply.
