Define the budget relevance of overhead accounting (CO) business processes.

In this configuration activity, you can define a selection of CO business processes as non-budget relevant and override the budget relevance settings made for the affected G/L account master data (budget account).

Budget consumption is also influenced by the budget relevance settings made for the G/L accounts that are used as budget accounts. The combination of both settings produces the following budget relevance for CO postings:

Budget Account CO Process Line Item of Journal Entry
Not Bdgt-Relvt. Not Bdgt-Relvt. No Budget Consumption
Not Bdgt-Relvt. Bdgt-Relvt. No Budget Consumption
Bdgt-Relvt. Not Bdgt-Relvt. No Budget Consumption
