PSM_S4C_V_TRE01 - Maintain Reference Template Types

In this Customizing activity, you define reference types. The reference type specifies the fields for which the values from the reference document are to be copied into the new document.

You require reference types if you want to use an existing document as a reference when creating earmarked funds and funds transfers.

Reference types have been defined in the standard system.

1. Check whether you want to use the reference types provided in the standard system.
2. If necessary, create your own reference documents and select the fields that should be copied from the reference document into the new document for each document type.

You specify your preferred reference type in the Customizing activity Define Document Types.
