PSM_VC_FMABP_CUST_05 - Activate Document-Based RIB
ABAP Short Reference General Data in Customer MasterThis documentation is copyright by SAP AG.
In this Customizing activity, you activate and define the settings for document-based revenues increasing the budget (RIB).
Document-based RIB are used to track budget increase at document level and the navigation between sender and receiver documents.
In addition to the derivation strategy in this activity, you can insteadimplement your own derivation strategy using the Business Add-In FMABP_DERIVE.
Changing from total-based RIB to document-based RIB is only supported if you finish total-based RIB activities in the current fiscal year and then start document-based RIB in the next fiscal year. You cannot use both solutions during a single fiscal year.
- Activate Document-Based RIB
- In this transaction, you activate document-based RIB in your FM area and fiscal year.
- Define Setting for Doc.-Based RIB
- In this transaction, you define the sender and receiver relationship between the revenue addresses and the expenditure addresses.
- Document Settings for Budget Increase
- Define the settings for a balance budget increase (BALA) process.
- Strategy Environment for Document Attributes
- As a more flexible alternative, you can assign a derivation strategy including a set of derivation rules or derivation implementations.
- Default Filter Profile
- In a filter profile, you specify the FM posting records (actuals or commitments) that become relevant for revenues increasing the budget.
- Default Expenditure Address
- If you require a more straightforward simplified approach that does not require a derivation strategy, you can also assign a default expenditure address.
- Define Derivation Strategy for Doc-Based RIB
- In this transaction you define the strategy used to set the relevant to budget increase indicator (Budget-Relevant) and that required to create a more detailed sender and receiver relationship. You can use various derivation types (such as derivation rules, table lookup, assignment, initialization and function modules) to define a set of derivation steps.
