SAP E-Book

In this step you set up direct access to records linked to SRM business documents such as contracts, purchase orders or bid invitations.

  • You must have linked a Records Management system to your Supplier Relationship Management system.
  • In the Records Management system, report /SAPPSPRO/START_WITH_POID must be available.
  • All users run Windows Operating Systems on their PCs.
  • The SRM user has a corresponding Records Management user with the same name.

Log on to the user PC for which you want to create the shortcut or to the network server, provided that a SAPGUI has been installed there.

Execute the above-mentioned report.

User ROGERS should be able to navigate directly from the SRM document to the related record.

Execute the report using the following parameters:

o,,User Name: ROGERS

o,,System ID in SAP Logon: KX1

o,,Client of RM System: 200

o,,SAP Logon Entry for RM System: KX1 [PUBLIC].

Make sure that the newly created file 'C:\Records_Management_Shortcut\KX1_START_Records_Management.sap' is a shared network file. User Rogers is now able to navigate directly from an SRM document to the record in the Records Management system, which is located in the SAP system KX1, client 200. This system is described as 'KX1 [PUBLIC]' in the SAPLOGON of user Rogers PC.
