In this activity, you specify how you want each employee's weekly working time to be determined. To do so, you assign Rule Numbers for Determining Week Converter to the employee groups.

You must have carried out the Define Rules for Determining the Weekly Working Time activity.

  1. Choose the Group Employees for Week Conversion activity.
  2. Group your employees according to their organizational assignments or their employment percentage. In the WWKMO feature, you must create the employee group for week conversion 01 at the minimum.
  3. Choose the Define Validity of Rules for Determining Week Converter for Employees activity.
  4. Specify the method you want the system to use to determine the weekly working time for individual employee groups. For each combination of employee subgroup grouping for time recording and employee group for week conversion, specify the rule you want to be used to determine the week converter.
  5. If you want to use a particular method of determining the weekly working time for particular FMLA rules, you can also specify one or more FMLA rules. This may be necessary if the law or a company agreement stipulates the method of determining the weekly working time, for example.
If you do not want a particular method to be used, leave the field blank. The week converter for these employee groups is then determined in the same way for all FMLA rules that the system generates for an employee.
