This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the Travel Expenses (FI-TV-COS) component. You can use this BAdI to enhance the standard way in which the system determines how costs for an employee are to be distributed to different account assignment objects.

In the standard system, the system uses function module GET_MASTER_COST_ASSIGNMENT to search first for complete cost assignment defaults in the Cost Distribution (0027) infotype. If required, the system then searches in the Travel Privileges (0017) infotype and then in the Organizational Assignment (0001) infotype.

Using this BAdI, you can implement your own search for cost assignments, which the system performs immediately after after it searches in infotype 0027. In this way, the system takes into account any existing cost assignment, irrespective of whether it is defined in an SAP standard structure (for example, such as HRP1018, if PD was implemented before the Travel Expenses (FI-TV-COS) component) or if it is defined in a customer-specific structure. The same search for completeness will occur, so the cost assignment must be defined to 100%.

You use the Business Add-In (BAdI) method AFTER_0027 to allow you to search for your own cost assignment information. You must map this information to the standard structure P0027.

For more information about the standard settings (filters, single or multiple uses), see the Enhancement Spot Element Definitions tab in the BAdI Builder (transaction SE18).

For information about implementing BAdIs as part of the Enhancement Framework, see SAP Library for SAP NetWeaver Platform on SAP Help Portal at http://help.sap.com/nw_platform.

Choose a release and then Application Help. In SAP Library, choose SAP NetWeaver Library: Function-Oriented View -> Application Server -> Application Server ABAP -> Application Development on AS ABAP -> ABAP Customer Development -> Enhancement Framework.
