Japan: Assign a declaration key to the combination of a company code and a company's local office, which is represented by a city code.
You can assign a declaration key to the combination of a company code and a company's local office, which is represented by a city code.
This assignment allows your local offices or subsidiaries to submit property tax declaration forms to their local tax offices, rather than through the company's head office.
- You have defined a declaration key in the Customizing activity Define Declaration Key.
- You have checked that the central control function is not active for your company codes. You check this setting in the Additional Data section for a given company code in the Customizing activity Enter Global Parameters.
- You have defined a declaration key in the configuration step Define Declaration Key.

A company's local offices are each responsible for submitting their property tax declaration forms to the local tax offices.
You use one declaration key to group the combination of a company's local office and the company code to which this office belongs.
