You can use this IMG activity to set up the Time Manager’s Workplace for Concurrent Employment functions. This enables you to use the Time Manager’s Workplace to process an employee’s time entries for all of his or her personnel assignments at the same time.

  • The Concurrent Employment functions are active in your system.
  • If necessary, you have set up time evaluation for Concurrent Employment.

For more information, see SAP Library under Human Resources → Personnel Management for Concurrent Employment.

  • If you have activated Concurrent Employment, RPTIME01 is launched automatically when time evaluation is called.

The following instructions are based on the assumption that you have enhanced your previous Customizing settings with the new functions. If you would like to create new profiles and field selections, you must make all the Customizing settings for the Time Manager’s Workplace.

  1. Perform the IMG activity Determine Employee List Display. Add the following fields to your field selection:
  • Person ID

  • Personnel Assignment

  • Personnel Assignment Text

  1. In the Employee Information section, use the IMG activities to create the layout for the Employee Information screen area.
    You can use this function to add employees’ concurrent employment data to the master data area of the Employee Information screen area. This information is then located in the one-day view and multiday view. Note that you get information related to only one of an employee’s personnel assignments in the Employee Information screen area.
  2. For the multi-person view, enhance the table for time entries. To do this, use the IMG activity Determine Table for Time Entries to add fields to your field selection that time administrators can use to identify the employees’ various personnel assignments. These fields may include:
  • External Person ID (if required)

  • Personnel Assignment and Personnel Assignment Text

Increase the number of fixed columns so that the additional fields are always visible.
  1. In the team view, the system automatically displays the personnel assignment and personnel assignment text below the name of the employee. In the IMG activity Determine Table for Time Entries, check that you are displaying at least two rows so that these entries are also visible.
