PYC_SP46_OV - Overview

You use the customizing activities under this node for the following purposes:

1. Maintain Additional Input Parameters with Values on the Check Type Level

With the simplified configuration, only process ID and process instance ID are allowed as input parameters for a check type. Because checks need to be defined more specifically, all the variables had to be hardcoded into the run time class of the check types.

As of release EA-HRRXX608 SP46, to reduce the implementation effort, variables can be defined on the check type level. The parameters and values can be accessed from the result context parameter value list in the run time class.

1. Configure Solutions for Check Types

For alerts found by the check types (also called validation rules), solutions are provided for the payroll admins in Payroll Control Center - Alert Managementapplication.

Now you can implement customized solutions. If the check type run time class implementation inherits from the base class CL_PYD_CHK_FP4_BASE, the customized solutions will be read.

To customize your solutions, complete the Customizing activities:

1. Define Solution Variables
2. Define Solutions
3. Assign Solutions to Check Types
