In this Customizing activity, you specify combinations of personnel actions and reasons for personnel actions are to be reported as 'Redundancy' in the HR interface file that you send to USS or that are to be reported as 'Death' or 'Retirement' in the Manual reporting file (not to be send to USS).

The settings are used by the USS HR Master Data Interface (RPCUSSG0) to enter the value 'R' (Redundancy) in the Reason for leaving field of the HR interface report file or enter the value '-' (Death) or '+' (Retirement) in the Reason for leaving field of the Manual report file.

Note

• If you specify personnel actions and their reasons without marking fields 'Death' or 'Retirement', that will be reported as 'R' (Redundancy).

• If you specify personnel actions and their reasons with marking field 'Death', that will be reported as '-' (Death).

• If you specify personnel actions and their reasons with marking field 'Retirement', that will be reported as '+' (Retirement).

The other two Leaving reasons are determined by the USS HR Master Data Interface (RPCUSSG0) report automatically as shown in the following table:

Reason for leav.	Value in file	Determination
Withdrawal	W	The employee opts out from the main pension scheme stored on the Pension Funds GB(0071) infotype, but he or she does not have a leaving action stored on the Actions(0000) infotype on or before the date of the opt out.
Leaving the company	L	The employee has a leaving action on the Actions(0000) infotype on the date or before of opting out from the scheme.
