The Transitional Period can only be activated at the duties start date or the hiring date. For this feature to be read on either of those occasions, you need to activate the transitional period at system level using a constant in T5GPBS_ALL.

Note

The Transitional Period field on the Pensions Reform infotype (3297) infotype can be hidden using table T588M.

If you wish to activate the transitional period manually, for an individual employee, you can set the appropriate field (TPEMC) on the Pensions Reform (3297) infotype and this will override both the feature and the BADI.
