In this Customizing activity, you maintain text that further explains an income tax-related investment or contribution type.

Consider that you want that during request creation on the ESS screen, employee should be able to view a text that explains a particular contribution, for example, Payment towards Life Insurance Policy of Section 80C. Then you maintain the following text in this table:

Payment towards Life Insurance Policy is a contribution by an employee towards a life insurance policy. The life insurance policy should be in the name of the employee or employee's spouse or children. In the case of an HUF(Hindu Undivided Family), this would be applicable to any member of the family.
