PYIN_P2E_SCRN_34 - Map Request Template based on Policy Group and Type

In this Customizing activity, you map the template(s) with policy group and policy type. The template that you maintain here will be available in Select Template field on Define Policy Steps screen of the HR Policy Management application. This template will be used during request creation.

You must have created Template ID in Maintain Request Template ID

1. Choose New Entries.
2. Select Policy Group.
3. Select Policy Type.
4. Enter the Sequence Number. In case you want to maintain more than one template for a particular combination of policy group and policy type, system uses the sequence number to identify the relevant template(s) to be displayed on the screen. Sequence number also defines the sequential order in which a template must appear in Select Template field on Define Policy Steps screen of the HR Policy Management application.
5. Select the Start Date and End Date.
6. Select the Template.
7. Select the Default Template Indicator checkbox; if you want to a particular template to be available by default, in Select Template field on Define Policy Steps screen of the HR Policy Management application on the screen.
8. Save your entries.
