PYPS_IN_ESEP_3300 - BAdI: Change Approval Status

This Business Add-In is used in the E-Separation (PY-IN-PS) component.

You can use this BAdI to change the auto approval status of the requests to customer specific status before the system automatically sets the status to Auto Approved.

You can use the AP_AUTO_APPROVE method in the BAdI with the corresponding import parameter as per your requirements:

• IST_APPRO - Denotes the approval information about the request such as approver id, approver methods and so on.

You should only carry out this step if both of the following points apply:

• The SAP standard processes do not suit your needs

• You are a competent ABAP/4 programmer

In the standard system, the Business Add-In is not activated.

After calling up the IMG activity, a dialog box appears, in which you have to enter the implementation name. Choose Enter, and proceed as follows:

1. Enter the Short Text for the implementation.
2. From the tab index, choose Interface.
3. Save your entries, and assign the implementation to a development class.
4. Place the cursor on the method, and double-click to enter method processing.
5. Enter the coding for the implementation between the statements method ~ andend method.
6. Save and implement your coding. Return to the Edit Implementation screen.
7. Save the entries on the Edit Implementation screen.

Note: You can also change an implementation, and then activate it at a later time. In such a case, end the processing stage at this point.

1. Choose Activate.

The coding you stored in the method will be run when the application program is executed.
