You use this Business Add-In (BAdI) in the E-Separation (PY-IN-PS) component.

During the creation of a separation request, this BAdI gives you the option to overwrite any error message that the system generates, in case the employees' record is inactive in the system.

You use the method VALIDATE_EMPLOYMENT_STATUS, in the IF_EAIN_EACTIONS interface of this BAdI to do the same.

The BAdI has the following parameters:

  • Import parameters:
  • IFD_PERNR- Denotes the employee's personnel number

  • IFD_EAIOD- Denotes the date of creation of separation request

  • Changing parameters:
  • CST_ERRST- Denotes the structure that contains the error message
